There is nothing quite like being welcomed into someone’s home to document new life. I love traveling to clients throughout New York City and Northern New Jersey to create beautiful images of their newborn baby (or babies) and expanding family. It is even more special when family comes to celebrate. I know that these are the moments families will value more with every passing year.

For NJ newborn photography sessions I always include as much of the immediate family as desired. If grandma and grandpa are visiting and present for part of the session, we will certainly create some generational images as well. This is a time to celebrate love.

Regardless of where our newborn and family portrait session takes place, it is my job to understand my client’s vision and make enjoying their favorite images easy and beautiful. During our consultation we often discuss whether an album or custom framed archival prints best suit their needs and style. For in person consultations, clients can view a variety of album and print samples, as well as frame corners. My albums and 100% cotton prints are designed to last generations; clients who also want digital files for safe keeping love that they also get to take home 4x6 proof prints for posterity.

For this gorgeous family expecting twins, we knew a variety of photo styles and archival products would perfectly fit their large family needs. We opted for an in home newborn session that included more formal family portraits with extended family, as well as a wardrobe change for more relaxed portraits of just mom and dad enjoying quiet moments at home with their sweet boys. The results are classic images the whole family will treasure viewing on the walls of their home and in a gorgeous album that tells their family story.
