OUTDOOR & IN-HOME FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
Outdoor and in-home sessions are natural and playful, with a focus on movement, connection, and the beautiful chaos of family life. Typically, I create some traditional portraits, too.
These sessions are also a beautiful option for senior portraits, including private school yearbook photos and more personal images that capture personality and connection.

Can we do studio family portraits if my children do not sit still or cooperate?

Yes. They do not need to perform or “behave” to create gorgeous family portraits, even in studio. I have a lot of patience and experience working with children, toddlers, and siblings. Sessions are gently directed, but never rigid. We make room for movement, play, breaks, and real personalities. I’m the youngest of five kids, and I’ve got this.
Can we do family photos at home?

Yes. I absolutely LOVE helping families plan in home photos beyond the newborn stage. I love documentary and lifestyle imagery, particularly for early childhood when we can document their favorite toys and activities, like reading books or building Magnatiles. At home sessions are also beautiful for teens and high school seniors to celebrate the final years of childhood in the place that made them who they are. At home photos are so special.
Absolutely. I love dogs and fully understand that they are an important part of your family. I’m happy to include them as much as you would like, and even create a portrait of just your pup.

Family session investment depends on whether you choose a studio, outdoor/in-home session, as well as the images and artwork you select after your session.
Most families invest between $1,500 and $4,000+ in their full family session and finished portraits, which may include digital image collections, framed artwork, matted fine art prints, or a custom heirloom album.
For those looking for portraits of just their child or senior, Heirloom Studio Portraits are also available and begin at $400 for one child.
