Eva’s UWS In-Home Newborn Session with Natural Light – Manhattan Newborn Photography

I met these beautiful Upper West Side parents-to-be earlier this year when I photographed Bindi’s gorgeous springtime cherry blossom maternity session in Central Park. I love getting to know clients while they’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of their newborn baby, and this sweet couple was no exception. Bindi wore two gowns from my Studio Wardrobe, and she looked absolutely stunning in both gowns! We were able to capture some gorgeous photos of Bindi and her husband with the cherry blossoms in full bloom, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. It was so fun to get to know Bindi and her husband at Bindi’s maternity session, and I couldn’t wait to meet sweet baby Eva after she was born.

They opted for an in-home newborn session at their Upper West Side apartment in a beautiful, modern, high-rise building. Their gorgeous apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows that provided lovely natural light for these special images. We kept Eva’s in-home newborn session sweet and natural, and we added a few girly accents at mama’s request. I absolutely love the photos of this gorgeous young family of three as well as the separate photos of Eva with each of her parents. Eva was so alert and awake, and I love the photos of her adoring face as she looked up at her parents. And, of course I always love the sleepy and snuggly newborn photos. For our final photo, we incorporated a gorgeous Sari from Bindi and her husband’s wedding, for a personal touch.

I always love doing in-home lifestyle sessions, especially when I’m photographing a newborn. I think there’s something so special about photographing and preserving these special memories of your new baby in their first home. In-home photo sessions are especially perfect if you have small children, because they tend to be more comfortable at home. And when the little ones are happy, it’s easier for mom and dad to relax and enjoy the moment and for me to take happy, natural pictures of your entire family.
