Baby Liam's Sitter Session | New Jersey Baby Studio Portraits

Isn't this baby the absolute cutest?!? Today I am sharing some milestone photos of baby Liam in the Northern NJ portrait studio. I love photographing babies as they grow because their sweetness is so beautiful to document.

Babies grow so fast in the first year after their newborn session, so I have found many families want milestone photos at the 6 or 7 month mark when baby can sit up unassisted. This is a golden time to photograph your baby. Shortly after this milestone baby will be on the move, which makes this sweet sitting baby stage all the more precious.

We used our white, minimalist baby photography studio, which was perfect for creating classic portraits that will look beautiful on the walls of any home. Mom and dad were in the process of building their dream home in New Jersey and knew they wanted to begin a gallery wall with all their favorite family memories, so a clean, white background for photos ensured timeless images that will look beautiful on the walls of their new home.

Mom has a demanding job so she loved the full-service experience, which made her life so much easier. During our pre-session consultation, she viewed wardrobe options and was thrilled to see so many options that fit her vision.

We were sure we wanted Liam in a diaper cover so we could see lots of his soft baby skin, and for your convenience, we carry the perfect covers in the studio, which you can see in Liam’s portraits. Dad is also wearing a shirt from the studio wardrobe, which is an added perk to doing studio photography with me. We even have a few classic toys for the baby to play with, which always elevates the photos.

I highly recommend getting photos during this sweet time right before you have a mobile baby, which is a whole different world for both the photographer and the parent.
