First Birthday Family Portrait Session in Theo's Midtown Manhattan Home

I travel to NYC apartments and townhouses to create beautiful portraits of families celebrating baby's first birthday. I almost always encourage families to turn these milestone photography sessions into family photo sessions because while we all love to watch baby go to town in a fun cake smash, baby's first birthday is really a celebration of MAMA and the whole beautiful, evolving family. The days are long, but the years are short, my friends. A mama knows how true those words are. Celebrate your amazing achievement of one surviving the first year of parenthood, document those adorable baby-almost-toddler features, and finally let baby go to town on some yummy cake. I would love to be there to capture it all.

Theo's session took place in his lovely Manhattan home with his mom, dad, and handsome pup. At the end of their family session revolving around Theo, Theo's mama had a gorgeous, yummy birthday cake from Mini Melanie.
